       Margaret Wilkerson Sexton debut novel, A Kind of Freedom, was a National Book Award Nominee in 2017, winner of the Crook’s Corner Prize, Winner of the first Novelist Award from the Black Caucus of the American Library Association, and a New York Times Notable Book. Her new book The Revisioners, is a National Bestseller and a New York Times Book Review Notable Book of the Year. Her work has also been published in The New York Times Book Review, Oprah.com, Lenny Letter, and The Massachusetts Review. Sexton was born in New Orleans and currently lives in the Bay Area of California.
